Arthur G. Zack has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1985. His practice includes Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury litigation, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Medical Malpractice. For over 25 years he has represented injured workers and their families. He has successfully litigated many catastrophic injury cases involving construction site accidents and serious motor vehicle accidents. He is a former contractor who has a genuine knowledge of the construction industry and this enables him to bring a unique perspective to construction site accident cases. He has handled cases with scaffolding collapses, defective ladders, OSHA safety violations, uncovered floor openings, and inadequate guarding of tools and equipment. He recently won a case where there was a defect in a walkway where an elderly man fell and suffered a life threatening head injury.
As a Workers’ Compensation practitioner, Mr. Zack is equally comfortable practicing before the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents. He has taught many seminars before employee groups on workers’ compensation law and has been a lecturer for several years at the Archdiocese of Boston Labor Guild. Although a seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Zack was an early advocate of pursuing Alternative Dispute Resolutions and thus is a strong proponent of the mediation process where he has enjoyed remarkable successes in settling cases.
Mr. Zack graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and the New England School of Law. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Association of Trial Attorneys, and the American Association of Justice. He is a supporter of the arts, an avid golfer, and a musician who plays in a rock band with other members of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
